On October 22, 2022, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi gave government jobs to 10 lakh youth through Rozgar Mela and distributed appointment letters to around 75,000 youth in the first phase. In Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch district, a female beneficiary’s sister said, we are a family of five sisters and two brothers. Our father is seventy percent disabled. We belong to a poor family. We are very happy that my sister has got a government job in the health department. The female beneficiary said she was too happy to express her feelings. All her friends whom she knows are deserving and have been selected. I belong to a middle class family, she said and here only those people are selected who belong to a middle class family. The youth are appreciative of the scheme and said, we salute our PM and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. The ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ slogan is proving that women can do something. Hard work is the basis of it, whoever does hard work will see good results coming into their lives. The proud father, expressing his thoughts on the good news said, today my elder daughter has cleared the SSB exam and got a government job without paying a bribe. She has taken the job on her own merit. I am thankful to the PM and LG sirs for this opportunity.
