Jammu, May 26,2026- Indian Institute of Management Jammu flagged off a 34-member youth delegation from Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh to Kerala under the Yuva Sangam 2026 initiative of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at Jammu Tawi Railway Station.
The week-long cultural and educational exchange programme is being coordinated by Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and aims to strengthen national integration, cultural understanding, and experiential learning among the youth from different regions of the country.
The delegation comprises students and young participants from diverse educational and social backgrounds who will engage in cultural immersion activities, academic interactions, and exposure visits during their stay in Kerala. The initiative seeks to provide participants with an opportunity to experience the traditions, language, lifestyle, and developmental practices of another part of India.
Officials associated with the programme highlighted that Yuva Sangam plays an important role in promoting unity in diversity by encouraging meaningful interaction between youth from various states and Union Territories. The exchange programme is also expected to broaden perspectives and strengthen bonds among young citizens.
Participants expressed enthusiasm about representing Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh while learning about Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and educational environment. The initiative reflects the broader vision of fostering harmony, mutual respect, and national pride among India’s youth.
