The Gurez valley in Jammu & Kashmir has won the 2022 Gold Award for best offbeat tourist destination in India. Venkatesh, a tourist in Jammu and Kashmir is all praises for the valley of Gurez. He finds it an amazing place. He says, good arrangements are available for tourists either at camping tents or at homestays. Tourists can easily stay here for a day or two and be at peace with beauty all around. Another tourist Dipankar finds the nature beautiful here and no less than any foreign country. He says Gurez is a beautiful place. A female tourist, Bhagyashree also finds Gurez valley awesome. She said they got to know about this place and visited it. The camping site in the background of the river is something to experience. There are a number of hiking treks for tourists. It is a good place for rejuvenation as it is not crowded. And foreign tourists should also come here, she says.
