First Batch of 178 Hajj Pilgrims Leaves Srinagar for Medina with Prayers for Peace and Prosperity With hearts full of devotion and hope, the first group of 178 Hajj pilgrims from Jammu & Kashmir departed for Medina from Bait-ul-Hujaj, Bemina, Srinagar. Among them, a female pilgrim shared her gratitude: “This is our first flight. Allah has given us this opportunity to perform this duty. We will pray for peace and prosperity for everyone here in our Kashmir.” Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah were present to see off the pilgrims, while DC Srinagar Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat ensured all facilities and arrangements were seamlessly managed for their sacred journey. This is our first flight. We are going toward Medina. Allah has given us this opportunity to perform this duty. We will pray for peace and prosperity for everyone here in our Kashmir and may Allah guide us on the right path, said a female Hajji among the first batch of 178 Hajj Pilgrims 2025 from Bait-ul-Hujaj in Bemina, Srinagar. The DC Srinagar Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat informed that with the help of the Hajj Committee everything was taken care of. We provided the Hajjis all the necessary things and facilities and their boarding took place comfortably from Haj House to the Srinagar airport. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha and the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Omar Abdullah were personally present to see them off to the holy place and extended their best wishes for a meaningful Haj-e-Baitullah.. DC Srinagar said, we only wish that the Hajjis have a safe pigrimage and fulfill their wishes and pray for J&K and the country for happiness and prosperity.
