An artisan Simran in Srinagar uses the waste grass and weed from Dal Lake to make decorative products. She makes hanging stuff, pots, vases, etc and wants her skill to reach every home where somebody is sitting idle or getting depressed. She wants to teach her grass skill to boost her income and to give employment opportunity to others. Everyone’s employment will increase through this. We have now succeeded, and we have set a mission to train 50 people in this, said Teacher Mohammad Yusuf. These girls should have a business mind to earn their living in this field, said the teacher of this craft.
