For the first time in Dooru village in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir we saw a light bulb and electricity. We were in darkness so far and therefore we are celebrating and dancing. Without electricity, children used to face a lot of difficulties in studying. Now they can study well. The residents said they are grateful to the government for providing them electricity. With four feet of snow around they faced difficulty in charging their mobiles. It was also a difficult task for electricians to lay the electricity wires in the mountainous region. But they did it. The residents of Dooru village for the first time in their life saw power.
