Srinagar, December 6,2025: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of Mission Yuva across the Kashmir Division.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners, MD Mission Yuva J&K, representatives from J&K Bank, and other concerned officers.
At the outset, the Director Mission Yuva delivered an extensive presentation outlining the key objectives of the flagship initiative. He stated that Mission Yuva aims to transform Jammu & Kashmir into a vibrant hub of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable employment generation.
The presentation highlighted major components of the mission, including:
- Mass employment generation through enterprise creation
- Development of a robust business support ecosystem
- Strengthening existing enterprises to boost State Gross Domestic Product (SGDP)
- Promotion of a dynamic startup and innovation culture
He also elaborated on the Mission’s 4Cs framework—Culture, Capital, Capacity, and Connectivity—along with details of the ongoing grassroots awareness campaign and the features of the Mission Yuva App and online portal.
During the review, the Divisional Commissioner instructed officials to revise the motivator selection process at the district level to ensure selection of capable, trained, and committed individuals. He also directed the Deputy Commissioners to closely coordinate with banks for the timely disposal of SBDUS applications approved by the District Level Implementation Committees (DLICs).
Emphasising the importance of reducing pendency, he called for proper handholding of applicants, resolution of bottlenecks, and ensuring smooth, time-bound implementation of Mission Yuva across Kashmir.
