In Baramulla there are 325 schemes for the welfare of the people, said the authorities. These Jal Shakti schemes require electricity. We have allocated 47 lakhs to the PHE department for aspirational district programmes. We have procured motor mounted DG sets or generators. There are 33 sites where we can move these DG sets. Wherever there is water scarcity or issues can be resolved with these movable DG sets. We have initiated these initiatives under the aspirational programmes for Sopore district in Jammu & Kashmir.
