NOWSHERA (RAJOURI), JANUARY 30– Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary laid the foundation stone for two major development projects in Nowshera—the upgradation of the Conference Hall at the PWD Dak Bungalow and the remodelling of Palaash Nowshera.
The Conference Hall upgradation, sanctioned at a cost of Rs 249.39 lakh, aims to enhance conference and meeting facilities in the region. This initiative reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure and streamlining governance. Speaking at the event, Dy CM Choudhary emphasised that the upgraded conference hall will serve as a modern venue for official meetings, public engagements, and other significant deliberations, ultimately facilitating better service delivery and efficiency.
In addition, the remodelling of Palaash Nowshera, with an estimated investment of Rs 107.48 lakh, was also officially launched by the Deputy Chief Minister. This project is designed to improve the living environment for the residents of the area, further enhancing the quality of life in the region.
Officials from the Public Works Department , local administration, and public representatives attended the event, expressing their commitment to ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of both projects. The focus remains on delivering public service facilities and urban amenities in line with the administration’s broader agenda of holistic regional development.
