Deputy Chief Minister holds public grievances camps in Nowshera, assures road connectivity and holistic development

NOWSHERA, DECEMBER 24: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, held public grievances redressal camps at Dhanaka and Langer in Nowshera to address public concerns and assess the development progress in the region. The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents, who lauded the government’s outreach efforts and commitment to inclusive development.

Speaking at the camps, the Deputy Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to holistic development in both rural and urban areas. He assured the gathering that road connectivity would be extended to every village and ward, ensuring no area is left behind in the march toward progress.

Surinder Choudhary also emphasised the importance of safeguarding public infrastructure, urging residents to refrain from encroaching on roads. He highlighted the negative impact of such practices on infrastructure development and public safety, calling for community cooperation in preserving public spaces.

In a bid to make development more inclusive, the Deputy Chief Minister issued directives to the officers present, instructing them to prepare MGNREGA plans in consultation with Gram Sabhas. “Community participation is crucial for effective planning and implementation. Developmental schemes under MGNREGA must reflect the genuine needs and aspirations of the people,” he stated.

The Deputy Chief Minister further expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response from the public, assuring them of the administration’s steadfast support in addressing grievances and accelerating developmental initiatives. “Our government is committed to bridging gaps in infrastructure and governance, ensuring that the benefits of development reach every corner of the region,” he remarked.

The camps concluded with Surinder Choudhary urging residents to actively participate in governance and development efforts, fostering a spirit of collaboration and accountability.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Babu Ram Tandon, along with other district and sectoral officers, accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister during the camps, ensuring prompt action on public concerns.
