POONCH, September 11, 2025: District Development Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma chaired a meeting to assess the implementation and achievements under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), focusing on enhancing agricultural growth in the district.Officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries departments delivered detailed presentations on program registrations, approvals, farmer enrollments, and key project advancements. Highlights included the setup of Kissan Kidhmat Ghars (KKGs), HADP expenditure, poultry farm development, fodder resources, DAKSH Kissan Portal status, Jammu and Kashmir Crop Insurance Programme (JKCIP), carp ponds, trout units, fish farms, and related schemes.The DDC directed officials to maintain accurate data on the DAKSH portal, boost application acceptance, and increase registrations under Kisan Sathi while enhancing farmer enrollments at KKGs.
He stressed wider outreach efforts, urging allied departments to promote all schemes actively, elevate milk production in dairy farms, and support local product development for improved market access.The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO), Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), District Sheep Husbandry Officer (DSHO), District Soil Conservation Officer (DSO), Assistant Director Fisheries, Assistant Director Floriculture, Assistant General Manager (AGMO), and other concerned officers.
