Srinagar, February 27, 2025- Amid ongoing snowfall, the Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar undertook a late-night tour of various city areas on thursday to oversee snow clearance operations and assess the power supply situation. The initiative aimed to ensure uninterrupted public services during challenging weather conditions.
During the tour, the DC directed officers to take swift action to prevent disruptions in essential services, emphasising the need for prompt snow removal and power restoration. The DC also stressed the importance of inter-agency coordination to guarantee hassle-free delivery of vital supplies and services to residents.
The late-night inspection reflects the administration’s proactive approach to managing winter exigencies, with a focus on maintaining accessibility and supporting the public amid adverse weather.
