Srinagar , November 13,2025- During the meeting, the DC reviewed the performance of various departments and implementing agencies involved in the execution of both programmes. He emphasised the need for integrated efforts to ensure that the benefits of Mission Yuva—a youth-centric initiative designed to nurture leadership, innovation, and employment opportunities—reach every eligible beneficiary in the district.
Dr. Bilal underscored the importance of Udyam Jagriti 4.0, a key component of the Mission Youth framework, in fostering entrepreneurial growth among young men and women by providing mentorship, financial literacy, and access to self-employment schemes.
He directed the concerned officers to intensify awareness campaigns at the block and panchayat levels so that more youth can register and avail of the schemes under the Mission Youth umbrella. The DC also highlighted the significance of tracking measurable outcomes—such as job linkages, startup support, and business establishment—to ensure transparency and impact assessment.
Reiterating the district administration’s commitment to promoting youth-led growth and innovation, Dr. Bilal said that initiatives like Mission Yuva and Udyam Jagriti are pivotal in transforming Srinagar into a hub of skill-based and self-reliant employment opportunities.
He also called for better coordination between departments like Employment, Industries & Commerce, Rural Development, and the District Skill Committee to achieve the mission’s objectives efficiently.
