Common service Centres help Pulwama villagers to deposit, withdraw and transfer money too

There are 4 lakh Common Service Centres (CSCs) built in all corners of the country. Government’s hundreds of services are reaching the masses. These CSCs have become a medium of employment for lakhs of youth, said the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Under the Digital India programme, the e-governance in Jammu and Kashmir got CSCs and we established one facility centre in each village of Pulwama. These CSC centres help the people in bank related matters, revenue department work, registration of Golden Card scheme, PM Kisan scheme, eShram, Mandhan scheme, etc. They can register and avail the benefits of these schemes. Apart from these activities, they can withdraw money at CSC, they need not go to a bank. They can approach the Account Service centre to withdraw money, deposit money and even to transfer money outside. This digital online system is the best as Aadhar card, Golden card, Shram card, etc is functional on this system. Everyone has benefitted through this system, said users. The Ujjwala scheme is an example, how so many people got connected and availed the benefits. Earlier, people from faraway places had to come to the main town in Pulwama for registration of any scheme or for passport work. Now they have to step out of their home and in their village only they can avail facilities at a CSC to get a PAN card or passport made. They also get insurance services here and they no longer have to go to the main town to get this work done. The CSCs benefit common people, zamindars, farmers, employees, etc. The Golden Card gives an insurance of Rs 5 lakh to everyone who gets the card made to avail health benefits. The poor can go to any hospital and get treatment worth Rs 5 lakh free of cost with the Golden Card. Everyone should avail of this benefit, said officials.
