Jammu, December 03,2025: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday distributed appointment orders under SRO-43 for families of terrorism-affected victims and RAS appointments to successful candidates in Jammu. The ceremony highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to provide employment opportunities to eligible beneficiaries and strengthen administrative services across the region.
During the event, CM Abdullah emphasized the significance of SRO-43, a government provision aimed at granting jobs to the family members of martyrs and victims of terrorism. He underscored that timely appointments under this scheme not only offer financial stability but also honor the sacrifices made by affected families.
In addition, the distribution of RAS (Rajasthan Administrative Service) appointment orders reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring merit-based recruitment in administrative services and reinforcing governance across Jammu & Kashmir.
