Career Counselling and Reorientation Workshop Empowering Youth in Pulwama Organized by Indian Army

Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir – The Indian Army is proud to announce the commencement of a “Career Counselling and Reorientation Workshop for the Youth of Pulwama district.” Scheduled from 26th February to 13th March 2024 at the Government Degree College, Pulwama, this workshop is conducted in collaboration with the Musuada Foundation. The primary objective of this initiative is to empower youth through education, skill development, and awareness about various employment opportunities and the issue of drug menace. This workshop offers a platform to engage the youth of South Kashmir, aiming to instill a sense of nationalism and encourage active participation in nation-building activities. Recognizing the crucial role of youth in the growth and development of communities and the nation as a whole, the Indian Army is committed to providing them with the necessary support and guidance. The event witnessed an inspiring address by Mr. Umar Jaan, a Social Activist, Former BDC Chairman, and a respected figure in the community. He encouraged the youth to actively shape their futures and pursue their dreams with dedication. Mr. Jaan expressed confidence in the youth of Kashmir, highlighting their vigor, innovative ideas, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit, which he believes will enable them to overcome challenges and play a pivotal role in the nation’s development. Mr. Jaan extended his gratitude to the Indian Army for providing a valuable platform for the youth of Kashmir and effectively engaging with them.
