Biggest change is the sense of respect and honour arising in the world towards every Indian: J&K LG

In the last nine years, a big change has been witnessed not only in the country’s political vocabulary but also in the work culture of the country. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in nine years the changes that have transpired in the lives of the common man have happened to make them aware of their rights, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha attending a CBC function. It is said that the media is the message, LG said. Initiatives taken by the Central Bureau of Communications are definitely welcome. The media we choose in mass communication, what you want to say and whether people are able to hear or understand matters. I want to state this, LG said, that the report card that you have seen through this exhibition is not an account of nine years’ work. Not just statistics of achievements in many sectors. Rather, I believe it is the dreams of crores of citizens of the country or a reflection of their aspirations. After a long time, the weak poor people of the society, the deprived people, have joined the mainstream. And it is the spirit of fulfilling the desire of the middle class related to global growth. For a long time an image of our country was made in the world. India is a rich land where poor people live. Today it is being said that India is the only land giving new hope, new aspiration to the whole world. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi prosperity has come not only in the society but the biggest change I think is a sense of respect and honour that has arisen in the whole world towards every Indian. There were many things which we earlier heard only in books or at functions. Discussions of giving women their rights has been going on in the country for a long time. Efforts were also made to empower them. In these nine years, women in India have been empowered with their rights. Today, the participation of women in the journey of India’s development is equal. A fine example of the work of changing the lives of many Indian women was done by giving LPG connections to more than ten crore smoke-filled kitchens. More than 11 crore toilets have been constructed in India. In the last two years, in 12 crore homes, the work of giving pure water from the taps has been done. In Jammu and Kashmir because of the Prime Minister’s initiative, by the end of this financial year, the J&K administration will be successful in providing pure water from the tap to every house. More than 27 crore women under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana Work have been assisted to make them strong by providing financial aid. To connect the youth energy with the energy of the country, I think the changes that have happened in nine years are also incredible, LG said. In 70 years, 8 AIIMS were built in the country. In the last nine years, 15 AIIMS have been constructed. Seven new IIT, 7 IIM, 390 new Universities, and under PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana, 1 crore 27 lakh youth have been provided skill training. For these reasons, our youth in India has become a strong force. To follow us on other mediums:
