Jammu, December 25,2025- Bhumika Sharma, an outstanding cadet from Jammu and Kashmir, has secured All India Rank 75 and has been selected for the Indian Naval Academy (Ser-117). She is a former Junior Wing Cadet of APS Ratnuchak and currently serves as a Senior Wing Cadet of Jammu University, 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC.
This remarkable achievement marks a significant milestone in Bhumika’s journey, reflecting her dedication, discipline, and exemplary leadership skills nurtured through the National Cadet Corps (NCC) program. Her selection for the prestigious Indian Naval Academy paves the way for a promising career in the Indian Navy, where she will contribute to the nation’s defense and maritime security.
Officials and mentors associated with her NCC battalion praised her hard work and perseverance. “Bhumika’s success is a testament to her determination and the rigorous training imparted by the NCC. She is an inspiration to young cadets across the region,” said one of her trainers.
