Kashmir, January 9,2026-Students from Baramulla, Kashmir, participating in the Bharat Darshan Tour, had an engaging interaction with Director General of BSF, Shri Praveen Kumar IPS, during their visit to New Delhi on 9th January 2026. The students discussed the role of the armed forces in national security and the importance of discipline, patriotism, and service to the nation.
The Bharat Darshan Tour offers students an opportunity to visit prominent national monuments, understand India’s rich history, and experience the cultural diversity of the country. After Delhi, the group will travel to Jaipur and Ajmer, exploring regional heritage sites and participating in educational activities aimed at fostering national integration and cultural awareness.
Officials said the initiative is designed to strengthen students’ connection with the heritage of Bharat, instil a sense of pride in the nation, and provide exposure to the historical and cultural diversity across states. Students expressed enthusiasm over the experience, noting it broadened their understanding of India’s unity and cultural richness.
The tour is part of ongoing efforts by educational and governmental organizations to nurture informed, responsible, and culturally aware youth from Jammu and Kashmir.
