Baramulla Police Organises Run for Unity | Aims to Keep Youth Fit and United to Fight Drug Menace District Police Baramulla organised a Run for Unity mini marathon programme to salute the martyrs on Ekta Diwas. The youth in Baramulla said that they appreciate the police for organising such programmes which keep the youth engaged and away from indulging in bad habits like drugs. It is a good initiative for boosting health too, said the youth in Baramulla. The aim of the race was to bring unity among the youth and to make Kashmir drugs-free. The Baramulla youth said how drugs destroy mental and physical health of a person. Ishfaq Alam, SDPO Tangmarg said, many school children came to participate in the programme. Even the sacrifice of the martyrs was for peace and the run for unity programme is also for peace. When there is peace around only then can such programmes be held, said the SDPO Tangmarg.
