Baramulla, March 31,2026- The Jammu & Kashmir Students Youth Forum organised an interaction programme with victims of terrorism at Dak Bungalow Baramulla in collaboration with the District Administration Baramulla.
The programme was attended by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Fakhruddin Hamid, Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla Gurinder Pal Singh, and the Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, along with members of affected families.
The primary objective of the interaction was to provide a platform for victim families to share their concerns, experiences, and challenges, while also identifying measures that can be taken at the district level for their welfare beyond employment assistance.
During the programme, special emphasis was laid on addressing key civil issues on priority, including access to healthcare, educational support for children, and resolution of day-to-day challenges faced by the families. Officials assured that necessary steps would be taken to streamline support mechanisms and ensure timely redressal of genuine concerns.
Participants actively engaged in the discussion, expressing appreciation for the initiative and highlighting the need for continued institutional support and empathetic engagement.
Representatives of the Forum reiterated their commitment to conducting similar programmes across other districts of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure holistic rehabilitation and sustained support for victims of terrorism.
The initiative reflects a growing focus on community-driven efforts and administrative collaboration to address the long-standing concerns of affected families in the region.
