The Meteorological Department noted that this spell of snow, accompanied by rains in the plains, has brought a much-needed respite to the Kashmir Valley. Gulmarg, a popular tourist destination, is expected to see increased footfall as the fresh snow enhances its scenic beauty and skiing opportunities.
