Anantnag, November 3,2025: After a hiatus of nearly three decades, Citara–Jadooz, in collaboration with local partners, has launched a month-long Kids Festival in South Kashmir, rekindling the region’s tradition of art, laughter, and community celebration for children.
The festival, which promises to be a vibrant blend of fun, learning, and creativity, aims to provide a joyful and enriching experience for children through a series of interactive sessions, storytelling, cultural performances, talent shows, and creative workshops.
Organisers said the event seeks to revive the culture of family-oriented community gatherings that once defined the social fabric of South Kashmir. By creating a safe and inspiring space for children, Citara–Jadooz hopes to nurture imagination, confidence, and cultural awareness among young participants.
“This festival is not just about entertainment—it’s about bringing communities together through the innocence and energy of children,” said one of the organisers. “After 30 years, we’re celebrating the spirit of childhood in Kashmir once again.”
Parents, educators, and local artists have welcomed the initiative, describing it as a positive step toward rebuilding social and cultural engagement in the region. The festival also features interactive sessions on mental well-being, digital literacy, environmental awareness, and traditional Kashmiri storytelling, ensuring a holistic experience for young minds.
The Citara–Jadooz Kids Festival will continue throughout the month, touring various towns across South Kashmir, and is expected to draw participation from hundreds of children and families.
The revival of this event after 30 years marks a renewed cultural renaissance in Kashmir, celebrating creativity, unity, and hope through the laughter of its youngest generation.
