Jammu Expo 2.0 Showcases Local Crafts, Cuisine and Entrepreneurship

Jammu Expo 2.0, organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation (JKTPO) under the Department of Industries and Commerce, is being held at Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The five-day exhibition, continuing until November 6, 2026, brings together over 60 exhibitors from across Jammu and Kashmir, providing a valuable platform for local artisans, entrepreneurs, MSMEs, startups and women-led businesses. The exhibition showcases the rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial potential of the region through traditional handicrafts, handloom products, agricultural goods, food items and lifestyle products. Visitors can explore unique handmade soft toys, traditional crafts, flavoured makhana, saffron-based products and natural food items developed by emerging local brands. Special spaces have been dedicated to One District One Product (ODOP) initiatives, HAUSLA women entrepreneurs and rural Self-Help Groups, encouraging local businesses to expand their reach and explore new market opportunities. The Expo also highlights the contribution of women entrepreneurs, many of whom are creating employment opportunities through their ventures. Cultural performances, folk music, traditional dances and Dogri programmes further add to the festive atmosphere. Jammu Expo 2.0 is not just an exhibition but an initiative to promote local products, strengthen entrepreneurship and celebrate the region’s rich traditions.
