PM-KISAN e-KYC Drive: Kathua Farmers Urged to Complete Verification

Farmers in Kathua district are being encouraged to complete their e-KYC under the PM-KISAN scheme so that eligible beneficiaries can continue receiving financial assistance through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The verification is important for ensuring that farmers’ records remain updated and that future installments are credited without unnecessary delays. Agriculture Department officials have urged farmers to bring their Aadhaar cards and complete the required verification at the nearest Kisan Khidmat Ghar or Common Service Centre (CSC). Farmers have also expressed their willingness to complete the process so that their bank accounts and beneficiary details remain properly verified. According to the information provided, around 60,000 PM-KISAN beneficiaries in Kathua have been advised to complete their e-KYC. Chief Agriculture Officer Kathua, Jatinder Khajuria, appealed to farmers to complete the process at the earliest and ensure that they do not miss the benefits of upcoming installments. The e-KYC initiative is aimed at maintaining accurate beneficiary records and ensuring that eligible farmers receive government assistance smoothly. Farmers are therefore encouraged to complete the verification process promptly and keep their Aadhaar and banking details updated.
