Srinagar, August 12,2026- Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Wednesday joined the Tiranga Yatra in Srinagar and addressed the public, describing the occasion as a truly historic day filled with pride, patriotism and national unity.
Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor said that the Tricolour flying high on the sacred soil of Srinagar represents India’s living conscience, while the timeless national song Vande Mataram continues to echo as its immortal voice.
LG Manoj Sinha highlighted the Tiranga as a powerful symbol of the country’s shared strength, unity and unwavering commitment to the nation. He called upon citizens, particularly the youth, to uphold the spirit of patriotism and strengthen the bonds of national unity.
The Tiranga Yatra witnessed enthusiastic public participation, reflecting the growing spirit of patriotism and collective pride across Jammu and Kashmir.
