Doda, July 11,2026- Doda district is on the verge of gaining a major recreational and tourism attraction as the Chenab River Development Front nears completion. Around 80% of the work on the ambitious ₹5-crore riverfront development project has been completed, marking a significant step towards enhancing public infrastructure and promoting tourism in the region.
The project has been designed to create a vibrant riverside destination that caters to residents and visitors alike. Once completed, the development will feature walking tracks, gazebos, landscaped green spaces, scenic viewpoints, and a dedicated children’s play area, offering a safe and attractive environment for leisure, fitness, and family outings.
The Chenab River Development Front is expected to become a prominent recreational hub while showcasing the natural beauty of the Chenab River.
