UP youth begins Amarnath Yatra on foot after char dham

Ramban, June 26,2026- Demonstrating remarkable faith and devotion, a young pilgrim from Uttar Pradesh has embarked on a foot journey to the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra after successfully completing the Char Dham Yatra.

The devotee reached Ramban en route to the Kashmir Valley, where he shared that his spiritual journey began with the Char Dham pilgrimage and has now continued towards the sacred Amarnath Cave Shrine. Choosing to undertake the pilgrimage on foot, he said the journey is driven by unwavering faith and a desire to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.

The pilgrim expressed excitement about participating in the annual Amarnath Yatra, one of India’s most revered Hindu pilgrimages, attracting lakhs of devotees from across the country every year. He also appreciated the arrangements being made for pilgrims along the Yatra route and expressed confidence in completing the challenging trek successfully.

The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 is scheduled to commence on July 3, with pilgrims travelling via the Pahalgam and Baltal routes under extensive security and logistical arrangements by the Jammu and Kashmir administration.

The annual pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath Cave, home to the naturally formed ice Shivling, is considered one of the most significant spiritual journeys for Hindu devotees.
