Ramban, June 25,2026- In preparation for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, extensive arrangements have been put in place across Ramban district to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of pilgrims undertaking the annual pilgrimage.

Authorities, in coordination with various departments, voluntary organizations, and local stakeholders, have established community kitchens (langars) and a range of essential facilities along the yatra route. These arrangements aim to provide devotees with free meals, refreshments, medical assistance, sanitation services, and resting areas during their journey to the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine.

Several langar committees have completed preparations to serve thousands of pilgrims expected to pass through the district. Special attention has been given to maintaining hygiene, ensuring uninterrupted water and power supply, and providing adequate shelter facilities at designated locations.

Officials stated that healthcare services, emergency response teams, ambulances, and help centres have also been positioned to address any medical or logistical requirements of the pilgrims. Security agencies are working in close coordination to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience.

The administration has undertaken measures to improve road connectivity, traffic management, sanitation infrastructure, and communication facilities along the route. Regular inspections and review meetings are being conducted to monitor preparedness and ensure that all arrangements are completed well before the commencement of the yatra.

The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is one of India’s most revered pilgrimages, attracting lakhs of devotees from across the country each year. The extensive preparations in Ramban reflect the administration’s commitment to facilitating a seamless and spiritually enriching journey for pilgrims.
