Lavender Festival 2026 in Bhaderwah | J&K Farmers Connect with Global Markets
The Lavender Festival 2026 was held at Bhaderwah, Jammu & Kashmir on June 6-7, 2026. The festival is unique as we observed a critical gap of market linkages, said Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, Director CSIR-IIIM. And we are hopeful that by the end of the festival a connect will be established between farmers and industries.
The festival-‘Lavender Goes Global’ was inaugurated by Union Minister Jitendra Singh.
We felt happy that the Union Minister came for the festival and he came to the lavender fields and started the harvesting. Also, technical sessions were held for the industrialists, and with it, the global linkages will be established, said a person associated with the Bhaderwah Lavender Festival in J&K.
