IndianOil launches 15-day retail safety campaign in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 8,2026- IndianOil launched a 15-day Retail Safety Campaign in Srinagar, reaffirming its commitment to the motto “Safety First, Safety Always.”

The campaign aims to strengthen safety standards and operational preparedness at fuel retail outlets, with a special focus on safe tanker truck (TT) decantation, electrical safety, and emergency response measures.

Officials said the initiative is part of a nationwide safety drive being conducted across nearly 42,800 petrol pumps operated by IndianOil across the country. The campaign includes safety audits, staff awareness programmes, mock drills, and inspections to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols at fuel stations.

During the launch event in Srinagar, company representatives emphasized the importance of maintaining high safety standards to protect customers, employees, and infrastructure. They said the campaign seeks to promote a culture of safety awareness and preparedness at every retail outlet.

The drive will also focus on educating fuel station staff about hazard prevention, fire safety mechanisms, and effective emergency handling procedures.

IndianOil officials reiterated that ensuring safe fuel operations remains a top priority and that continuous training and monitoring are essential for accident-free service delivery.
