Tirumala, May 8,2026- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday visited the revered Lord Venkateswara Temple and offered prayers at the shrine of Lord Venkateswara.
During the visit, officials of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams welcomed the Lieutenant Governor with traditional honours. He was presented with silk clothes and received Vedic blessings from the temple priests as part of the customary rituals accorded to visiting dignitaries.
Manoj Sinha participated in special prayers at the temple and prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Temple authorities also presented him with sacred prasadam following the darshan.
The Tirumala temple, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, is among the most prominent Hindu pilgrimage centres in the country and attracts lakhs of devotees every year.
The visit of the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor comes amid his ongoing engagements and spiritual outreach across various religious destinations in the country.
