LG Manoj Sinha launches projects in Samba’s regal village

Kashmir, May 6,2026-In a significant push for border area development, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday visited the Vibrant Border Village of Regal in Samba and laid the foundation stone for multiple developmental projects.

Addressing locals during the visit, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized the government’s evolving vision for border regions, stating that these areas are no longer to be seen as the “last villages” of India but as the nation’s “First Villages.” He reiterated the administration’s firm commitment to ensuring holistic and inclusive development of border communities.
