Bhaderwah, May 4,2026- In a remarkable display of endurance and eco-conscious travel, cyclists from multiple states completed a thrilling expedition from Jammu to the scenic Bhaderwah Valley, promoting the region as a premier destination for sustainable adventure tourism.
The multi-day cycling expedition, titled “Pedal to the Peak,” saw riders navigating challenging mountain terrains, dense forests, and winding roads to reach the picturesque valley often referred to as “Mini Kashmir.” The journey not only tested the participants’ stamina but also highlighted the untouched natural beauty of the region.
Organized with the aim of promoting eco-friendly tourism, the event focused on minimizing environmental impact while encouraging adventure enthusiasts to explore offbeat destinations. Participants emphasized the importance of responsible travel and preserving the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.
“Bhaderwah offers everything an adventure lover seeks—lush meadows, cool climate, and breathtaking landscapes. Cycling through these routes is both challenging and rewarding,” said one of the riders.
Local authorities and tourism stakeholders have welcomed such initiatives, noting that events like these can significantly boost footfall while supporting local livelihoods. With increasing interest in cycling and outdoor activities, Bhaderwah is emerging as a hotspot for trekking, camping, and now long-distance cycling.
The successful completion of the expedition has added momentum to efforts aimed at putting Jammu and Kashmir on the global adventure tourism map, while reinforcing the message of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
