Kashmir , April 21,2026- A statue of Vijay Bahadur Singh was unveiled in Ghazipur by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Manoj Sinha, paying tribute to the noted social worker and educationist.
The ceremony was held in honour of Shri Vijay Bahadur Singh Ji, who was the founder of Mahamandaleshwar Shri Bal Krishna Yati Inter College. The event saw participation from local dignitaries, community members, and well-wishers.
Addressing the gathering, Manoj Sinha highlighted the values of service, sacrifice, and nation-building that defined Singh’s life. He described him as a karma-yogi who worked selflessly for society without seeking recognition or personal gain.
The Lieutenant Governor said that Shri Vijay Bahadur Singh Ji dedicated his life to empowering future generations through education and social service. He urged people, especially the youth, to draw inspiration from his ideals and contribute towards building a stronger society.
The statue stands as a tribute to his legacy and a reminder of his lifelong commitment to public welfare. Floral tributes were paid at the site, with attendees remembering his contributions to education and community development.
