Doda,April 20,2026- Road construction under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is progressing rapidly in Doda, significantly enhancing rural connectivity across the district.
Officials said that a majority of villages have already been connected through all-weather roads, bringing ease of travel and improved access to essential services for residents in remote areas. Work is currently underway to connect the remaining habitations in a phased manner.
The accelerated pace of construction is expected to boost local development by facilitating better access to healthcare, education, and markets. Authorities reiterated their commitment to ensuring timely completion of all pending road projects under the scheme.
The initiative marks a major step toward inclusive growth, strengthening infrastructure and improving the quality of life in rural parts of Doda.
