Jammu, April 9, 2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday underscored that true nation-building is rooted in shared values, integrity, and trust among citizens, rather than merely physical infrastructure, while addressing a cultural event in Jammu.
Delivering a strong message to the youth, the Lieutenant Governor said that the strength of a nation lies in the collective mindset of its people. “A strong nation stands on citizens’ integrity, common values, and mutual trust, not just buildings,” he remarked, calling upon young people to prioritise community welfare over personal interests.
He emphasised that the essence of true nationhood comes alive when individuals rise above self-interest and contribute towards the greater good of society. His message resonated with the audience, particularly the youth उपस्थित at the programme.
The Lieutenant Governor attended a musical opera depicting the revered legend of Mata Sukrala Devi, which showcased the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the region. The performance beautifully illustrated the divine narrative associated with the Goddess, drawing appreciation from attendees.
Highlighting the deeper message conveyed through the opera, Manoj Sinha said that true devotion remains incomplete without righteous action, while action without devotion loses its essence. He noted that such cultural initiatives play a vital role in inspiring society, especially the youth, towards value-based living.
The event served as a blend of spirituality and social responsibility, reinforcing ethical conduct and the importance of cultural traditions in nation-building.
