Hostel Mess Facility for Athletes Inaugurated at Shrine Board Sports Complex

Katra,April 4, 2026-In a major boost to sports infrastructure and athlete welfare, a modern hostel mess facility was inaugurated at the Ashirwad Complex of the Shrine Board Sports Complex by Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.

The newly established facility is designed to serve over 100 athletes from multiple sports disciplines, offering hygienic, nutritious, and balanced meals tailored to their specific dietary needs. The menu has been scientifically curated by a qualified nutritionist to support athletic performance, stamina, and recovery.

Addressing the gathering, the CEO emphasized that the initiative reflects the Shrine Board’s commitment to promoting a strong sports culture and ensuring the holistic development of athletes. He highlighted the critical role of proper nutrition in enhancing performance and maintaining overall well-being.

The initiative has been undertaken under the guidance of Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Chairman of the Shrine Board, who has consistently advocated for developing world-class sports infrastructure and nurturing young talent across the region.

Athletes and coaches expressed their appreciation for the dedicated facility, noting that access to quality nutrition will significantly improve their training outcomes and competitive performance.
