Jammu, April 3, 2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the 8th Ayodhya Parv held at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi, where he underscored the profound civilisational, cultural, and spiritual significance of Ayodhya.
Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor described Ayodhya as the “cradle of civilisation and eternal fountainhead of consciousness,” emphasising that invoking Ayodhya means connecting with the deeper consciousness embodied by Lord Ram.
He highlighted the importance of internalising the ideals of Ayodhya and carrying forward its timeless legacy. “The world must learn from the ideals of Lord Ram’s rectitude, dharma, duty and sacrifice. His life proves that those who walk the path of truth and righteousness ultimately prevail,” he said.
The event was organised by Shri Ayodhya Nyas in collaboration with IGNCA and Pragya Sansthan, bringing together prominent dignitaries and spiritual leaders.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha remarked that understanding Ayodhya goes beyond geography. “To understand Ayodhya is to understand oneself. It is not just a city but the living consciousness of the present and the compass of the future,” he said, adding that it represents the nation’s roots and enduring inspiration.
He further noted that Ayodhya inspires individuals to awaken their inner consciousness and remain grounded in faith and tradition despite changing times. According to him, it reinforces moral values, balance in life, and the importance of direction over mere speed in progress.
“In today’s global climate, Ayodhya stands before us as a guide,” he observed, stressing that its ideals of duty, dignity, compassion, and sacrifice were not only taught but lived.
Highlighting leadership values, the Lieutenant Governor said Ayodhya teaches that strength and sensitivity can coexist, and that leadership is rooted in service rather than governance alone.
He also described Ayodhya as a vital pillar of India’s global identity, economic strength, and cultural continuity. Referring to the efforts of Narendra Modi, he noted that the civilisational essence of Ayodhya has been revitalised on the global stage.
“The true strength of nations lies in their identity and cultural depth. The significance of a civilisational source like Ayodhya extends beyond India and resonates across the world,” he said.
The Lieutenant Governor emphasised that preserving and presenting cultural roots in a contemporary context can lead to both cultural enrichment and economic growth. He described Ayodhya as a living example of how civilisation forms the foundation of future possibilities.
Among those present at the event were Mahant Kamal Nayan Das Ji Maharaj of Shri Maniram Das Chhawani, Ram Bahadur Rai, Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, Diya Kumari, Ashok Bajpai, Lallu Singh, and Sachchidanand Joshi, among others.
