Jammu, February 10, 2026: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met with a delegation from the Shri Amarnathji Yatra Bhandara Organisation (SAYBO) to discuss the logistics and smooth operation of the bhandaras for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2026.
During the meeting, key aspects related to the planning, coordination, and management of food distribution points were deliberated to ensure a seamless pilgrimage experience for the yatris (pilgrims). The LG emphasised the importance of efficient arrangements to uphold the sanctity and safety of the yatra.
The Shri Amarnathji Yatra is one of the largest annual pilgrimages in India, attracting lakhs of devotees from across the country. The bhandaras organised by SAYBO play a crucial role in providing free meals and hospitality to pilgrims along the arduous route.
Manoj Sinha assured full administrative support for the successful conduct of the yatra and directed all concerned departments to work in close coordination with SAYBO and other stakeholders.
