Baramulla,January 23,2026-Deputy Commissioner Minga sherpa conducted a field visit to review ongoing snow clearance operations across Baramulla district. During the inspection, he directed all executing agencies to work on a war footing to ensure the early restoration of roads and the safe movement of traffic in snow-affected areas.
The DC emphasised that prompt and coordinated efforts were essential to maintain connectivity and minimise inconvenience for residents and commuters. Authorities have been instructed to prioritise main roads and critical routes while ensuring safety protocols for operational staff.
Residents are advised to exercise caution while traveling, follow traffic advisories, and cooperate with the agencies involved in the snow clearance operations. The administration reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining smooth road connectivity during the winter season in Baramulla district, Jammu & Kashmir.
