From dreams to leadership: LG Manoj Sinha inspires J&K youth

Jammu, January 20,2026-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday called upon the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to dream big, challenge limitations, and take the lead in shaping the Union Territory’s future, asserting that history remembers those who dare to break barriers and turn the impossible into reality.

Addressing a gathering of students and young professionals, the Lieutenant Governor said the energy, creativity, and determination of youth are the strongest driving forces behind nation-building. He emphasised that Jammu and Kashmir’s progress towards Viksit Bharat depends largely on the active participation of young minds equipped with skills, innovation, and a strong sense of responsibility.

“History does not remember those who follow the crowd, but those who dare to challenge limits, conquer fear, and work relentlessly for a higher purpose,” LG Sinha said, urging the youth to remain focused on education, character-building, and self-reliance.

The Lieutenant Governor highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the administration to strengthen education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and sports infrastructure across J&K. He noted that transparent governance, inclusive development, and youth-centric policies have opened new opportunities for students and aspiring entrepreneurs.

LG Sinha further stressed the importance of staying away from drugs and negative influences, calling upon young people to become ambassadors of positive change in their communities. He said discipline, innovation, and service to society are essential pillars for building a resilient and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment, the Lieutenant Governor said the administration will continue to support youth through career guidance, startups, self-employment schemes, and platforms that nurture talent and leadership.

He concluded by urging the youth to take a pledge to contribute wholeheartedly to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and the realisation of a Viksit Bharat, stating that the future belongs to those who have the courage to challenge limits and the resolve to serve the nation.
