Kashmir,January 6,2026- A group of students from Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan as part of the National Integration Tour, an initiative aimed at fostering unity, cultural exchange, and national awareness among youth.
During their visit, the students had the opportunity to interact with the President and gain insights into the country’s democratic institutions and heritage. The visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan marked a memorable experience for the students, many of whom were visiting the national capital for the first time.
The National Integration Tour is designed to expose young students from border and remote regions to India’s cultural diversity, historical landmarks, and governance framework, strengthening their sense of national pride and integration.
Officials said such initiatives play a vital role in broadening students’ perspectives and encouraging them to contribute positively to nation-building. The interaction with the President was described as inspiring and educational by the participants.
