Jammu, December 27,2025: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Thursday paid rich tributes to the Sahibzades on the occasion of Veer Baal Diwas at a commemorative event held in Jammu.
Remembering the unparalleled bravery, supreme sacrifice, and extraordinary courage of the Sahibzades, the Lieutenant Governor said their martyrdom remains one of the most inspiring chapters in Indian history. He highlighted the unwavering commitment, strength, and faith shown by Mata Gujri Ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, stating that their lives continue to guide generations with timeless values of truth, righteousness, and resilience.
“The Sahibzades displayed unmatched courage at a very young age. Their sacrifice for faith and justice is a beacon of inspiration for every citizen,” the Lieutenant Governor said. He added that Veer Baal Diwas serves as a reminder of the need to imbibe the ideals of bravery, compassion, and moral strength in everyday life.
The Lieutenant Governor emphasised that the teachings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the sacrifices of his family inspire the nation to stand firm against injustice and uphold the values of unity, humanity, and service.
Veer Baal Diwas is observed across the country to honour the martyrdom of the four Sahibzades of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and to commemorate their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to the principles of dharma and freedom.
