Bandipora, December 18,2025-Deputy Commissioner Bandipora on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review and finalise arrangements for the successful conduct of ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Or’ Week, scheduled to commence from December 19 across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to organise dedicated camps at the grassroots level throughout the week, with special emphasis on redressal of public grievances and delivery of government services. He stressed the need for maximum outreach to ensure that benefits reach the intended beneficiaries in a time-bound and transparent manner.
The Deputy Commissioner further instructed that daily progress reports and activity-wise data shall be submitted to the District Level Monitoring Committee, headed by the Programme Officer, ICDS. Departments were asked to focus on key performance parameters and maintain proper documentation of all activities conducted during the campaign.
Sub-Divisional Magistrates were directed to closely monitor and supervise the activities in their respective subdivisions, while District Heads of Departments were instructed to ensure the smooth functioning of camps, including adequate deployment of manpower and resources.
Emphasising the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the Deputy Commissioner said that ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Or’ Week must be made impactful and result-oriented, with public satisfaction and effective service delivery as the primary objectives of the initiative.
