Kashmir,November 17,2025 : The 32nd Northern Zonal Council meeting kicked off today at Surajkund, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha is among the prominent participants representing the northern states and union territories.
The council meeting brings together senior officials from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Ladakh, Chandigarh and J&K to review key issues related to regional security, inter-state coordination, infrastructure development, transport and power connectivity, and public service delivery.
LG Manoj Sinha is expected to present Jammu & Kashmir’s priorities on development, governance reforms, and inter-state cooperation during the deliberations. The NZC serves as an important platform for strengthening Centre–State relations and resolving long-pending regional matters.
