Jammu, November 15,2025: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Friday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accidental blast at the Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar, which claimed multiple lives and left several others injured.
In a heartfelt post on X, the LG said, “Deeply anguished by the loss of precious lives due to the extremely tragic accidental blast at Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar. My condolences to the bereaved families. I pray for speedy recovery of the injured.”
Calling the incident deeply distressing, the Lieutenant Governor reaffirmed that the Jammu & Kashmir administration stands firmly with the affected families during this difficult time. He assured that all possible assistance—medical, financial, and administrative—is being extended to the victims and their families.
LG Sinha further announced that he has ordered a high-level probe to determine the exact cause of the accidental explosion, emphasising that the government is committed to ensuring accountability and preventing such incidents in the future.
Authorities have intensified relief measures, while medical teams continue to provide urgent care to the injured. Senior officials remain on the ground to oversee support operations and monitor the situation.
