Jammu, November 5,2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and a symbol of peace, equality, and compassion.
In his message, the LG said, “On this sacred day, let us draw inspiration from the timeless teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who showed humanity the path of truth, humility, and service. His divine message of oneness, harmony, and universal brotherhood continues to guide generations toward a just and compassionate world.”
The Lieutenant Governor prayed for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all, urging people to follow Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s ideals of selfless service (seva) and truthful living to strengthen the bonds of love and unity in society.
Across Jammu and Kashmir, Gurudwaras were beautifully decorated as devotees offered prayers, sang hymns, and participated in langar to mark the holy occasion with devotion and joy.
