Ramban, November 2,2025: A Cluster-Level Block Sports Meet was successfully organised at Gool, Ramban, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students and youth across various educational institutions. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, physical fitness, and youth engagement at the grassroots level.
Participants competed in multiple disciplines including athletics, volleyball, kabaddi, and kho-kho, showcasing exceptional energy and talent. The event was organised under the Department of Youth Services and Sports , Ramban, as part of its ongoing efforts to encourage youth participation in sports and recreational activities.
Officials from the district administration and the sports department appreciated the students for their active involvement and emphasised the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities among the younger generation.
The winners of various events will represent the block in upcoming inter-district competitions, reflecting the administration’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent in rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
