Srinagar , October 16,2025- In a major step towards supporting families affected by terrorism LG Manoj Sinha announced that around 250 jobs have been provided ti families of terror victims over the past three months
Addressing the media during his visit to Dardpora in Kupwara , LG Sinha said the initiative is a part of administrations ongoing commitment to ensure justice , dignity and rehabilitation for those who have lost their loved ones to Pakistan backed terrorism. These families faced decades of trauma , hardship and neglect. The government is determined to support them with education , employment and welfare measures he added
The move comes as a continuation of the governments effort to empower terror victim families by providing them stable employment in government departments , enabling them to rebuild their lives . The Lieutenant Governor also paid homage to the civilian martyrs and assured the victims families that the administration will handle every case with utmost sensitivity and responsibility
LG Manoj Sinha further stated that the process of providing government jobs to affected families will resume after the by – elections for Budgam and Nagrota assembly constituencies , reflecting the governments ongoing commitment to the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir’s terror – affected communities.
This initiative has widely been appreciated as a step towards rehabilitation , employment and justice for the victims families, reinforcing the administrations pledge to ensure that those suffered from terrorism receive tangible support and recognition .
